Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American television chef and host. Burrell was also an instructor for the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature spiky blond locks and pumped up personality, provides easy techniques anybody can learn. Chef Burrell studied and worked in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. Growing up in upstate New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for food and cooking in her early years. She pursued her love of working in the restaurant business by enrolment in The Culinary Institute of America following her graduation in English as well as Communication at Canisius College, Buffalo NY. I was awed by every minute during my time at The Culinary Institute of America she declares. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was a fantastic place to study. When I graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and Chef Burrell took a full year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. The chef gained an knowledge of Italian culinary and cultural traditions while in Italy and this has affected her style of cooking. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists children with obstacles. As a speaker, Burrell makes trips across the country to speak about her passion for cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. In her journey to culinary excellence, Anne has often said that I am very fortunate to share my true passion for life with people.
